SOLO selective collectors
FULL PLATE
High-end full-plate collector featuring a harp-type absorber, offering very high efficiency levels. It has been tested at the NCSR “Demokritos” laboratory in Greece and is certified with the SOLAR KEYMARK; SRCC certification is also forthcoming.
Casing: Aluminum, electrostatically painted for maximum corrosion protection, ensuring reliable, long-term operation in coastal areas.
Absorber Surface: Aluminum sheet with a highly selective coating—featuring high absorptivity and low emissivity (α=95%, ε=4%)—laser-welded to the fluid-carrying grid (hydroskeleton).
Glazing: Tempered safety glass for maximum durability under extreme conditions (such as hail), with a low-iron content for high solar transmittance, and a prismatic texture to minimize the reflection of solar radiation throughout the day.
Thermal Insulation: 30mm of specialized, eco-friendly mineral wool with low resin content. Thermal conductivity: λ = 0.035 W/m°K (EN 13162); heat capacity: 0.84 kJ/kgK.
Back Panel: 0.4mm Aluzinc—a sheet coated with an alloy consisting of zinc (43.4%), aluminum (55%), and silicon (1.6%). Very good mechanical properties and superior corrosion resistance—7 times more resistant to corrosion than standard galvanized steel.

Inner water tank: 2.5 mm thick.
Constructed from two deep-drawn shells joined by a SINGLE ROBOTIC WELD (halved).
Closed-circuit jacket: 1.8 mm thick cold-rolled steel for maximum long-term durability.
HARD ENAMEL A2+ antimicrobial coating: fired at 870°C (glass-lined). A specialized formula for deep-drawn tanks, certified by WRAS and NSF, ensuring truly hygienic water.
Thermal insulation: 50 mm thick, dense, eco-friendly polyurethane to retain hot water.
Enhanced cathodic protection: utilizes a magnesium anode with double the length and thickness.
Heat exchanger: (metal coil) included in triple-energy models, allowing for operation with a boiler or heat pump.
Innovative new design: outer casing featuring an exceptionally aesthetic appearance.
